Contains various Asylum histories (including typescripts of early minutes), Acts of Incorporation (1832-1895), By-laws (n.d.), copy of an agreement with Mt. Sinai Hospital (1871), Board of Trustee Minutes (1930-1939), Executive Committee Minutes (1930-1939), various committees minutes and reports (1923-1940), and Annual Meetings material (1910-1940). Includes also papers relating to the Warner Brother Gymnasium (1927-1928), the Broadway property (1883-1943), the merger with the New York Association for Jewish Children (1940), Asylum bonds (issued 1883-1895) and Donations (1870-1926, with autograph inscription by Isaac Mayer Wise at Hebrew Charity Fair, 1870), Admission and Discharge Records (1884-1960), Public School Detention Book for the Asylum's children (1879-1884), and Student Savings Accounts (1912-1941). Also found are the files of Edenwald (1919, 1929), the Friendly Home (1916-1941), The Girls Home Club (1928), the Ladies Sewing Association, the publications of various alumni associations (Seligman Solomon Society, Academy Alumni, and H.O.A. Associates) a "Memorial Book" (obituaries, 1905-1972), and numerous photographs.
